what is realy strange is that when I was a littke kid playing outside with my friends , we were always eating the soft part of the grass and other plants aroud us... they were always nice and sweet... and we never had any belly aches afterwards... then we grew older... we did not play outside as offten... we forgot ...
I think that as children we have some DNA natural memory that is available... when we grow older the brain cuts off that memory...

Well isn't nature amazing the way there are commonalities worldwide. Although this is filmed in the USA, I could identify most of the plants - and I'm from New Zealand.
Now I will have a completely different relationship with the 'weeds' in my garden and consequently more variety and nutrition in my food.
Thanks Sergei for another informative film and thanks FMTV for more great content.

Sally, nature is AMAZING! And so is New Zealand! I've conducted foraging walks in your beautiful country numerous times and was shocked by the degree of overlap.
