FMTV - Transgenic Wars

Transgenic Wars

Runtime: 52m 13s | Release date: 2014

The march towards the dominance of GM products in agriculture started 15 years ago, but where will it end? Today, in Argentina, all agriculture is transgenic, but after 15 years the weeds have adapted and Glyphosate no longer works. In response, farmers have started using hazardous chemicals in an indiscriminate and unregulated manner. In some areas, the rate of serious genetic deformities in children has exploded. We meet the families and doctors convinced that living so close GM farms is the cause.

There is a one in two chance that the pork chop you had for dinner last night came from an animal that had been fed on transgenic soy. We visit the Danish farms where both the amount of pigs born with deformities and the number dying from gastric diseases has dramatically increased. The animals are fed on a transgenic combo of GM soy that was treated with the herbicide Glyphosate.

How has transgenic agriculture managed to conquer agriculture so quickly? While the U.S. government is beholden to the transgenic lobby, many European countries have managed to hold out. But how much longer will they be able to resist?

I often find myself wondering if these horrible people have children of their own. The world we will leave to our future generations is in grave danger of becoming unliveable, our soils ruined, trees cut down for mono crops, our beautiful animals becoming extinct (daily) or treated cruelly for human consumption and humans are suffering from many illnesses, all in the name of progress! We all need to take up our banners and educate everyone you meet, as it seems our governments have sold us all out!
Thank you FMTV for all this information!

I find that the chemical, and GMO companies have it in there agenda to destroy! The presidents and shareholders should have to live in the environment they test their failures. Dow, DuPont and Monsanto

I do believe that GMO´s, herbicides, pesticides, etc, are all part of a mass killing of populations, it is becoming so obvious! This is a very hard film showing the evil part of mankind, which, altough is very discouraging, should never stop us from putting forward a fight in the right and opossite direction than Monsanto´s, the fight for rightousness for the wellbeing of human kind. I wonder how much money, did Patrick Moore received (and so many others) to be ready to defend the massive killing of populations. So sad! Thanks for opening our eyes in these very important issues, I will pray for FMTV founders and contributors to receive continuous blessings and protection for their unconditional love for human kind.

Great film!!!! Unfortunately there are animal and human sacrifices in this the transgenic war..........oh we the human race how disappointing we are blinded by the mere sight of the dollar, instead of caring for the one earth we have!!!!!! It gives us food, it gives us water, it gives us air and the tools, however greed has taken over.

Once more man's total inhumanity to man and the love of the almighty dollar - excellent film but so terribly sad when the power goes to the evil side of life and there is no reasoning with them. Huge thanks to the film makers for making these films and their absolute courage in going into places where they are definitely not wanted.
