The Ultimate Morning Tonic

Exclusive on FMTV

Series: Teas and Tonics for Sleep & Stress | Episode: 1 | Runtime: 01m 44s | Release date: 2017

This segment features: Rachel Morrow.

Serves: 1

Why it's so good for you:

It takes a little more than just opening your eyes and splashing your face with water to wake up the body. Our bodies are a complex system and one of the best things you could do for your body upon waking is to rev up your digestive system!

Rehydrate and get things moving with this, the Ultimate Morning Tonic. Turmeric and ginger are well-known for their healing benefits such as stimulating the digestive system, anti-inflammatory properties, and cleansing properties, just to name a few! Lemon and apple cider vinegar are the perfect ingredients to help kill bacteria, naturally decongest any mucus buildup while helping to balance the body’s pH levels.

Add some cayenne pepper and cinnamon to really fire things up! A great tonic to sip on in the morning to wake and invigorate the body.

Featuring:
Rachel Morrow

Would it work to make a larger batch of this to store in the fridge? That way it would be ready and easy in the morning before work. Maybe for 5 days worth?

Hi, I have the same, videos labeled (teas and tonics for sleep and stress) don't play. I deleted the app and reinstalled, but nothing changed as well. Some other videos don't play as well. Is there anyway to fix this?

This is the only video on the sight that won't play for me and I really want to watch it! When I push play it just showing a spinning circle like it's loading, but then never starts. Is this happening for anyone else or just me? :-(

Beside being a morning tonic, what health benefits would you say we would gain out of having this daily in the morning?

Hi Damien, this drink is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. It has turmeric and ginger which are both known to stimulate the digestive system, has anti-inflammatory and cleansing properties. It also has lemon and apple cider vinegar, which help kill bacteria, naturally decongest any mucous buildup while helping to balance the body’s pH levels.
