FMTV - Strawberry Parfait

Strawberry Parfait

Series: Simple Vegan Classics | Episode: 12 | Runtime: 11m 17s | Release date: 2012

This Strawberry Parfait is dairy free and kids love it! It’s super easy and its made with seaweed! Yes, seaweed! Irish Moss is a very nutritious type of seaweed, don’t panic though, it doesn’t have that seaweed-y taste but instead a very neutral flavor, so you will never know.

Serves: 2-3

Featuring:
Jason Wrobel

Delicious mousse, I substituted agave for raw maple syrup. Maybe next time I'll try using a few medjool dates to sweeten? Thankyou for recipe!

I agree with the viewer who questions your use of agave- a high fructose sweetener, and really questionable. Otherwise I enjoy your presenting unusual recipes and careful explanations. Thanks!

I would not recommand agave to anyone. PLease review your notions on this sweetener. Anything else you ve got is fine. And fun to watch as usual, thank you.

Certainly looks delicious although was hoping it would be thick enough to spoon out. Going to try this out on friends, who like myself are gradually changing to healthier eating.
Yes, agree with you, Lois...Jason is very watchable. I'm not a fan of food preparation but maybe I'll adopt his style in the process and make it 'feel' enjoyable.
