Hello Lorraine, absolutely! You may use any plant-based milk alternative. Oat milk is nice and creamy though, so it’s a good option :) ~ Pauline

What would be a good substitute for almond milk for this particular shake? I would love to give this to my son but he has a nut allergy. Would coconut milk be ok?

Do you think I could give this to my kids (who are 1 and 4 years old) before they are about to sleep? Or do you think it would be better to give to them during the day?
