So you don't need to strain with a nut bag?

Hi Annette, you may strain through a nut milk bag or pour straight into glass bottles if you don’t mind the pulp in your milk. Hope this helps :) ~ Iris

Hello JoAnn. We do not recommend re-using the water you used in soaking your seeds or nuts for any recipe in a sense that the water already contains the elements that we want to get rid from the seeds or nuts. Moreover, you may use the soaking water to "feed" your plants. :)

Perhaps I read the recipe wrong… I was reading it that they were supposed to soak in 5 cups of water and then you discard it. The 5 cups of water is supposed to be in with the nuts and the blender-is that right?

i make mine with twice as much water as nuts so 2cups of nuts 4 cups of water seems to work well. and when soaking enough water to cover nuts then discard
