FMTV - Psyched Out

Psyched Out

Runtime: 84m 47s | Release date: 2018

A documentary exploring plant medicines and psychedelics, some of these plants and substances have been used for thousands of years as a healing modality and tool for spiritual connection.

After having a life-changing experience himself, Giovanni Bartolomeo sets out to speak with a wide spectrum of people including other psychedelic explorers, experts, doctors, facilitators, recovering addicts, and more in search of the truth.

On the journey, the questions started to mount, and the findings were not exactly what he was expecting.

Used for thousands of years as a healing modality and tool for spiritual connection, could this be the solution to many of the current physical and emotional ailments we as humans are suffering from today? Are we currently experiencing a psychedelic deficiency? Had we been 'psyched out' on their true nature and purpose?

This is why I love FMTV! It is amazing that an older very conservatively raised person like myself can come across a documentary like this and have my mind opened up to the use of psychedelics to help people in profound ways. Thank you for this mind changing experience!

I’m fascinated with this topic, I thought it was a great presentation and thought provoking doc, I do think though that as said in the film , plant medicine is not for everyone, and their can be some really scary dark experiences that people may not cope with and it is essential for professional guidance with help near by. Some great history of plant medicine through our ages that really makes sense and also the biblical references are fascinating , I would love to ask my priest their thoughts on that !

Thank you for sharing the background of this controversial subject. Through my own brief introduction to hashish in Kashmir in 1972 I felt a letting go of any inhibitions and felt a freedom of spirit. So I can understand why many may benefit from some of these substances. Since 2000 I have been a energy healer and felt a presence assisting me on my journey. Though various meditations I experienced a sense of oneness. My direct connection from higher Source came through November 2019 sharing personal messages for myself and mankind. This is the ultimate where everyone can access the answers from their higher Source by simply letting go and allowing to receive guidance to live a joyous and fulfilling life without drugs or other influences. Blessings in love and light
