I wish there were gluten free oats. I use to love porridge but gluten hates me 😭

Hi Rose, oats are generally gluten-free. We suggest looking for uncontaminated oats to ensure they are not contaminated with gluten or look for certified gluten-free oats ~ Ivory :)

Is butter good for our health? Or just adding flavors?

Hi Bonnie! Yes, the butter will add flavor and if you do add butter, please make sure it is organic / biodynamic, pasture fed and raw where possible is best.

:) just like to add here. Finding butter from grassfed and finished cows or even Ghee (Clarified butter) is good. Ghee has been linked to be very beneficial for your gut bacteria

I wish a spatula was used to scrape up food left behind....seems such a waste, I wouldn't be without one!

Rest assured, we did use a spatula post-shooting the recipe. Nothing goes to waste in the Food Matters Kitchen - Ivette :)
