Tips to pimp your green juice

  • Add some extra ginger, for zing
  • Keep the peel of the lemon/lime on, for extra zest
  • Add 1 green apple if you need extra sweetness
  • Put your herbs in with the lemon/limes so they don’t get stuck in the juicer
  • Pour some spring/filtered water into the juicer at the end of juicing to get the remaining nutrients out

I trying to do this, but I am so stubbern.. I started saturday, with lemon/ginger, spirulina powder and the salad, soup is ok.. but plum season..(so I am making desserts of the last plums). and I am a mother who dont want to throw away food... so dinner ended up in me last night. But I like this start of the morning- and are amazed that I dont constantly think of food, because I allways do. Even my mother is doing this, and she says detoxes allways starves her, but not this time.

Hello Lisa, it's best to drink straightaway while it has all of the fresh nutrients available. Probably no longer than 24 hours though and you can always add a little fresh lemon juice to help slow the oxidation :) ~ Pauline

So far, so good. My green juice ended up being 1 qt worth, so I saved some for that snack.
