Hello Kristina, yes you may soak your beans for as little as seven hours in warm acidulated water ~ Ivory :)

Great recipe and so simple to make. I cook this all the time...double and triple batches, so I always have extra in the freezer which comes in handy for those busy days when I don’t have time to cook. Topped with a dollop of vegan cream cheese, grated vegan cheese and some corn chips along with a crunchy coleslaw...so yummy, it’s always a winner in my house!
Thanks FMTV😋

Humm chili without chili powder nor a bit of sea salt. Very interesting, seems like this chili is for a bland palate. I'd have to modify it for more of a robust chili flavor 😊

Hi Jill, thanks for asking. You may omit the tomatoes but it may turn out dry. To resolve that, you may also try to add vegetable stock and try to adjust the flavor to your liking. Let us know how it turns out! ~ Jasmin

Almost identical to my recipe. Your vegetables are chopped in larger sizes than mine so I’ll try that. It may make the veggies the star versus the beans. Thank you!
