Hello Polly, at room temperature, this keeps for 1-2 days. If placed in the fridge, this stays 2-3 weeks :) ~ Pauline

I have a culture starter with different strains than the one you have recommended. It contains different bacteria strains and about twice as many. Can I use this to make coconut water kefir?

Hi Gay, as per Kirsty, you can use a starter culture of your choice. I would also suggest checking out her website here for more information: https://kulturedwellness.com/. Happy fermenting! :-) ~ Iris

Thanks for this wonderful series. I would really like to make the coconut kefir but I can´t find a culture near me. I am reluctant to buy online. Could you reccommend a website that is reliable and that would ship to France?
