Loved this recipe, I tried to make it with rice and quinoa and quinoa is definitely my favourite as I like the Kitcheree to be more moist. I left out the ghee to make it a vegan version and it still tasted amazing.

I love Indian cuisine & the spices. I am making this fantastic recipe tomorrow. I did not see Susan using Carrots, it's listed in the recipe, is it optional? Thank you for sharing & Bon appetit :)
