Hello Kathleen. It's the process of soaking nuts, grains and seeds to minimize or eliminate nutritional inhibitors and toxic substances found in them. You can learn more about soaking here: http://www.foodmatters.com/article/should-you-activate-your-nuts-and-seeds. :) ~ Karelle

OMG this curry is sooooooo good. I made my own tandoori paste though as the shop ones had too many nasties in ;)

What I like about all of the recipes, is that they are so simple and so nutritious. Great idea sharing from those who "live the life."

well, all this seems to me a healthy version of aktins or ducan; completely grainfree. i find the demonization of grains excessive, especially when considering that those who live 120 years in the world have a diet based on grains. healthy unprocessed wholegrains are super important for our health, and would never advise anybody to eat meat or fish everyday. i find the use of fats like nuts and avocados also excessive; many cannot metabolise all that fat, even if it is good fats. for those that have issues digesting grains, i would go for the body ecology diet, which is a balanced non extreme approach.
