I'm Not Nuts

Runtime: 83m 57s | Release date: 2009

I'm Not Nuts explores the misinformation many have about food allergies through the experiences of several families. They say it's because of genetics and say nothing about the known cause of allergies for over 100 years vaccinations. https://www.omicsonline.org/open-access/evidence-that-food-proteins-in-vaccines-cause-the-development-of-foodallergies-and-its-implications-for-vaccine-policy-2329-6631-1000137.php?aid=60994

Ok movie. I think they downplayed the increase in allergies and the corresponding increase in GMOs and the other chemicals in our food. They put a lot of emphasis on genetic when genetics are such a small part of the problem. It can be there but the food and the chemicals will be what turns on the genetic component.

I agree, and I couldn't help but notice the food these families were eating, processed or "food-like substances" more than real food.

One more thing : we could learn from these children and start to eat more healthy . Milk products are not good for all of us . Nothing is natural anymore . And thats why our body is reacting that way . Our parents were living a much more healthier life . The food haven't been that bad how it is today . So why not being greatful for telling us we need to change our awareness and get more informations about food . There is a reason for it that we have to deal with that. It's a sign to warn us . Why doctors and scientist are not mentioning that in that movie ? It's not bad , it's great, because we are asked to get aware .

If these children would eat an egg from a farm where the chicken could run around and be happy and they are getting good food in the sense of no pesticides corn/seeds ! I bet that child wouldn't have any reaction . Why not just listen to that child or children and change your own life as well . We might start to follow ... I am taking care of myself and my family without having any food allergy and we feel great . My kids are saying to themselves it's ok when you eat that I am happy not to eat it . And I don't feel sad or different or make it complicated , I am just being myself . ❤️

I am not sure if I agree on that movie . That movies shows so much sadness and even the backroad music is pointing it out more .
From my point of view we could go much deeper with that topic like WHY do we have to deal with that nowadays ? What about that these children came to us to tell us there is something more out of balance and actually that we are getting much more an awareness what we are putting in our mouth. In the sense of where it is coming from , that egg for example ?
Guess why we have nowadays much more allergies ? It's how our food is made .
There is so much bad things in it and the treatment of the animals are so bad for instance etc .
We need to understand that this topic is much more complex. Krista

You would think establishing proper gut flora with breast milk would be the most beneficial thing to do in oder to secure proper immune function to prevent allergies in the future :/

My 3yr old nephew has a number of food allergies, with nuts being 1 of them. My sister has to be so careful with what she feeds him, as he is also allergic to gluten, eggs, wheat, dairy, and even cats and dogs. It's amazing how years ago you would never have heard of any such thing as food allergies.
