Exclusive on FMTV

Series: Food Matters Juice Recipes | Episode: 4 | Runtime: 1m 50s | Release date: 2015

This segment features: James Colquhoun.

A powerful juice to help prevent cancer, soothe the stomach, and reduce the harmful effects of radiation therapy!

Serves: 1

Why it’s so good for you:

The key component of this incredible juice is green cabbage! Part of the cruciferous vegetable family known for their anti-cancer effects, cabbage possesses a potent compound (DIM) that has been shown to protect against the harmful effects of radiation therapy. Cabbage juice has also been used to treat stomach ulcers by coating the stomach and protecting the lining. Pair this with the goodness of greens and the soothing, anti-inflammatory compounds in ginger, and this is one gut-loving green juice!

Drink up!

Featuring:
James Colquhoun

Although I understand that your saying chicken bone broth is extremely beneficial for lining the stomach, as a vegan, does the above juice mean that green cabbage is a good substitute.?
Thanks

If we don't have a juicer, is it ok to use a blender? Thanks
