Can you reverse the wrinkles caused by eating too much sugar? Can you lessen their appearance the longer you stay off of sugar?

Hello Amber. Sugar binds to proteins and fats in the body during digestion to create “advanced glycosylation end products” or AGES, which are free radicals that reduce collagen and elastin in the skin, ultimately causing wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity. So yes - staying off of sugar can help you get rid of wrinkles. Please read this article to find out more reasons to quit sugar: https://www.foodmatters.com/article/5-more-reasons-to-quit-sugar :) ~ Karelle

Hi Christa, I am wondering if you have any comments on natural facial items like quartz rollers, face massage, facial exercises, etc... if they work/help at all,,, or if this is very specific to food and if so, if consuming more collagen/gelatin would help make the facial muscles tighter, thank you.

I love Christa Orecchio. So informative! I wanted to give a five star review, but somehow a one or two got recorded. Don't know how to undo that. Definitely five star!

Yikes! Wrinkles are like sign-posts! Yep, I have potential heart problems, low blood pressure and need to continue on with my daily breathing practices - am using Yoga for the Not so Young. This was quite an insight about wrinkles. Fascinating.
