Fast Food Baby

Runtime: 57m 53s | Release date: 2011

Our junk food addiction is dropping alarmingly down the age ladder. We’re now rearing a generation of fast food babies. This arresting documentary reveals babies and toddlers eating a diet of chips, burgers and kebabs all washed down with bottles of fizzy cola.

Fast Food Baby explores the deep-seated reasons why parents resort to junk food feeding and follows three families as they desperately try and get back on the right nutritional track. From gentle food play to dramatic shocks, the parents team up with real experts who mentor them through the latest techniques as they try to wean their children off fast food.

Featuring:
Dr. Catherine Dendy
Hayley Kuter

I can't believe the doctors didn't put her heart attack down to her diet and smoking. And blamed it on the stress of child birth alone!

Why is it that I read so many comments about the videos pausing and every video I watch pauses too. I don't think this was worth the money I paid. It's every video! I get so frustrated I'm staring at a frozen screen.

So sad to watch parents thinking that they are doing the best for their children when in reality they are making the sick. So happy to see that they got the help that they needed. So sad for the ones that don't get that help. Great documentary!

I felt so angry with the parents all the way through this film, although I do give Kara and Gareth credit with their son Michael, as they were trying to feed him healthy food, they were just going about it the wrong way, and they were both filled with constant anxiety, which Michael would have sensed, as he would have been reacting to the environment around him.
