Eating Like A Nutritarian

Runtime: 77m 48s | Release date: 2011

This film features: Dr. Joel Fuhrman.

This film introduces you to the building blocks of eating like a nutritarian - someone who naturally prefers the most nutritious foods for the body. This is not a diet, it's a proven plan for health and vitality. You will learn how to properly nourish your body so that it stays lean, fit and vibrantly healthy!

Filmed at Whole Foods Market, Dr. Fuhrman takes you through the high-nutrient food aisles to show you what to buy and how to prepare the super foods that your body needs: vegetables, fruits, beans and the right fats and proteins. He also addresses the biggest dietary myths we have been told, ranging from misconceptions about olive oil to the truth about snacking.

Join Dr. Fuhrman on this path and you will easily reach your ideal weight and be healthier than you ever thought possible.

*Disclaimer

Please be advised that although we feel there are important messages in this film, we also acknowledge that there may be conflicting ideologies that challenge beliefs. We like to encourage our viewers to do their own diligent research to determine which is the right approach for them as we regard nutrition and health as being highly individualized and not a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

I’m only half way through but this is info dense and really really informative. I eat well but I don’t diversify much and Joel has given many ideas to enhance and diversify what I eat, just in the first half hour! Artichokes... never ever had ‘em, let alone buy and cook one! Leeks...same thing. My next two adventure items. I’ll have to go back and view this again as here’s a lot of value in his commentary.

Wow! I'm so impressed with his information and the science that follows, it makes me motivated to cook like he does. I will check out Dr. Fuhrman's website as I think he can offer some delicious recipes. It's a new beginning. It's been 3 years since I was diagnosed with colon cancer and it's still a battle; however, this gives me GREAT HOPE!!

This is probably one of the most informative documentaries on your website besides Food Matters and Hungry For Change. I would love to see more from Dr. Fuhrman as I love learning the deeper science as to WHY to eat these foods. :)
