What about soaking the nuts first. James Colquhoun did a segment on activating nuts by soaking them. This breaks down the phytic acid or enzyme inhibitors which inhibit our ability to digest the nuts.

Hi Rita, You will want something with a bit of guts.... if you don't ... it's still possible... but you might find it takes longer to get the end result. You will have to blend then let the machine rest, as you will probably find it heats up.

Hi Cynthia, I heard you say to use the DRY canister on your vitamix for this butter. Is the correct. I have been having issues in making my nut butter.
