Wow! So pleased this message is out there. I was diagnosed with type 2 at 40. I'm the smallest of my siblings in terms of weight but put it down to both my parents being diabetic. When I was 50, I bought a $30 ebook saying it was possible to reverse it. Less than six weeks later my doctor gave me the news that I was no longer diabetic. He was pleased, but not once did he ask what I'd done! I'm 53 now and still not diabetic. Listen to this stuff, it really works. Good luck everyone.

Hello Elizabeth, sorry to know that. We cannot encourage you enough to get greater understanding of some of the issues underlying this condition. We always recommend treating the root cause of the condition, rather than trying to band-aid the symptoms. We have found that the best way to absorb this kind of information and get inspired is by watching a documentary or film on the topic. We have hand-curated the best films globally and also interviewed the leading doctors in this space. You can explore our library on treating diabetes naturally here: https://www.fmtv.com/i-want-to/reverse-diabetes-naturally. Lastly, we highly recommend working with a practitioner to really deep-dive into the root cause and provide specific one on one advice. If you don't have a trusted practitioner, you can browse this here: https://www.foodmatters.com.au/collections/health-practitioners :) ~ Pauline

This makes me cry because my Dad is diabetic and I just found out. He is too ignorant to try and help himself & he consumes so much sugar and carbs that he is killing him self. He gets angry when ever my sisters have tried to tell him. I don’t know how to help when he can be cruel at the same time to us

Hi Melanie,
I’ve been a diabetic for close to 30 years now I can honestly say to listen to your dad. It will do more than to tell him anything about this condition and what may or may not happen because it’s happened to other people. We constantly are bombarded with the worst case scenarios and then family with their frustrations and ideas of how we need to manage ourselves becomes quite overwhelming. It all takes time to adjust and change to the new way of life. Hurting people hurt people. Feel free to reach out if you need a listening ear. PM on messenger if you want.
