American Addict 2 - The Big Lie

Runtime: 93m 29s | Release date: 2015

From the makers of the hit documentary American Addict, "American Addict 2: The Big Lie" picks up where the first film left off and breaks even more new ground. Director Sasha Knezev conducts candid interviews with leading celebrities, politicians, and physicians, including the executive producer of the film, Gregory A. Smith, M.D.

The film will reveal the effects on society, the link between certain medications and crime, the compelling and unbelievable stories of everyday people who have become addicted to prescription drugs, and others who became prescription drug dealers. Just a few of the things we will cover in the sequel along with some shocking, undercover footage.

Found this movie fascinating. I was stunned to hear that three football stadiums-worth of babies from birth to 1 year of age are on psychiatric drugs. What are doctors telling parents that convinces them that their newborn child needs an anti-depressant or anxiety medicine?? It must be one persuasive argument because the possibility of a child so young having those problems does not even seem logical.

The background music is not background music, it over-rides the voices of interesting speakers. Very irritating.

Very good information. Hard to hear over the music sometimes, though. Other than that, it was very helpful. Thank you.

Thank you for making this film. It is a long hard road we all have against systems designed to subjugate the populace. Lots of great work, and yet more to be done.

Powerful message, but poorly made. Too jumbled, terrible hyper focusing on facial parts, incohesive, bad music. Would have been better to focus on Dr Smith's work as a backdrop. Seemed the intent was to be artsy rather than compelling.

This is a very disturbing film and the background music makes it even worse.
