Series: Mega Immunity | Episode: 1 | Runtime: 11m 2s | Release date: 2013

This segment features: David Wolfe.

At the first sign of a cold or flu, make a batch of this tea to jump start the immune system.

Dandelion: Herbalists use dandelion root to detoxify the liver and gallbladder.

Ginger is often called a “wonder herb”, and has antibacterial, antifungal, and antirhinoviral properties. It also protects the liver and stomach.

Goji berries contain polysaccharides, which enhance the body’s ability to resist disease. The polysaccharides in goji have a chemical structure similar to compounds found in echinacea and maitake mushrooms.

Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants which inhibit bacterial growth. Astragalus (huang qi) is a well-known traditional Chinese herb that is good for colds, flu, immune-deficiency related problems, and more. Astragalus promotes healing and provides energy to combat fatigue and prolonged stress.

Chaga: Nature’s “King of the Herbs”, Chaga has been known for thousands of years to help maintain a healthy life-energy balance, preserve youth, promote longevity, and boost the immune system.

Honey is a natural antiseptic, and is often used to promote energy and healing.

What should I tell my mom to try to help with her gallstones? What should she eat and drink to relieve her symptoms?

Hi, I once was talking to am herbalist ans she recommends to after boiling the roots ans herbs (usually for liver detox tea) to leave the brew sitting overnight and start drinking the next morning. Have you heard of this? I forgot exactly why, but it made sense at the time she said it

I can't remember the last time I was sick, but my husband is fighting something right now. I'm going to make him this tea. Thanks!
