From the filmmakers & founders of Food Matters, James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch bring you Baby Matters - an extended interview series featuring their personal experience with the birth of their son Hugo. From preconception to birth, and 6 months postpartum.

James & Laurentine begin their story from preconception, the challenges they faced during this time, the nutritional therapy they chose to have a natural conception, and how they overcame hormonal hurdles. During the gestational period the pair delve into their encounters with common myths and taboo topics around food & nutrition during pregnancy, including detoxing, supplementing and raw foods, and how this affected the nourishment of their baby during the growth period.

Along with pregnancy nutrition, James & Laurentine explore the concept of becoming connected to Hugo from conception to birth and discuss how they created a safe and welcoming space for Hugo’s arrival.

The Baby Matters series also includes an exclusive interview with 0-3 baby educator Ruthanne Tregaskis. Ruthanne shares her expert tips on how to nurture baby from birth to 5 months and how to prepare your home for your newborn.
