Many of us are unknowingly suffering from food sensitivities and allergies which are preventing us from reaching optimal health and an ideal body weight. We created this video program as we saw a need for a simple, yet effective detox program that anyone can enjoy. It includes healthy recipes that we regularly prepare for ourselves. We love sharing what we eat to stay healthy and hope that you love it too.

In much the same way you need a holiday from work, your body needs a break from time to time for some serious R&R. This is especially important if your body is feeling tired, sick, heavy or just plain run-down.

Detoxification is a normal process, in fact your body is constantly trying to neutralize and eliminate toxins through the major organs such as your colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymphs and skin. But what if your self-cleaning system is overloaded and blocked up?

Research shows that detoxing may be the missing link to disease prevention, especially for immune-deficiency diseases like cancer, arthritis, diabetes chronic fatigue syndrome and candida.

Even if you have a great diet, cleansing is the perfect way to boost your immune system and protect yourself from nasty toxins with a good internal spring clean.


Laurentine and I have designed the 3 day guided detox to be easily achievable and allow everyone to feel the benefits.

3 days not enough? Then up the ante and follow the program for 7-10 days! Don’t think you can do 3 days? That’s ok, 1 day of detoxing is better than nothing! We do however recommend trying to stick to 3 days to really feel the true benefits of an inner-cleanse.

There are many detoxification programs and products out in the market, so what makes the Food Matters 3 Day Detox video program different? We believe in a program that is not too extreme and does not leave you starving, making it achievable and easier to commit to. Hi Sandra, great question! In addition to being longer in length, the 7 Day Cleanse is based on smoothies and soups whereas the 3 Day Detox includes light meals. In addition, cleansing normally focuses on the digestive tract and detoxing is more associated with striving to support your body’s natural toxin-eliminating processes. I can´t agree more. I love natural and healthy food but I give in to sweets and comfort food to take over. I didn't realize that when I eat healthily I do crave for more healthy food. I appreciate you put this 3-day guide and I can't wait to start! I already started my morning with my ginger-lemon water and my greens (thank you for them btw) and I am about to get into the store to buy what I need for the rest of my day. Gracias and Namaste!!!

Hey guys..... I’ve just done day 1 which was all good but I’ve woken up and been really sick. Could it be dehydration where I haven’t drunk enough?! Or possibly just a bug with v bad timing!!!

Hi Hayley, some people may experience mild detox symptoms such as headaches, tiredness, irritability, dizziness and mucus elimination. These are all normal and a sign that your body is beginning to cleanse. Make sure that you drink plenty of water and stay super hydrated as this is important to ensure your body functions at its best. If you feel that you require extra energy for the afternoon, I would suggest having another fresh juice or two. It is also equally important to rest up as much as possible to allow your body’s incredible healing mechanism to work its magic. To further clarify… I’m wondering how many green juices you can make with this list?

Hi Karelle...I don't think you understood the question. Is the grocery list provided enough for making 3 green juices a day? I don't have the powder...just making sure I don't need to buy more greens to make the juice.
